4 stories of prophets in Islam

Stories of the Prophets are a different group of stories that were mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and are closely related to the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an. Stories of the Prophets have many benefits in our lives.

First: The story of our master Yunus, peace be upon him:

When our master Yunus, peace be upon him, began to spread his message that God commanded him to do, he began to call upon his people day and night, and all of his people did not believe in him. Whenever he went out to call them, they would not respond to him. Our master Yunus, peace be upon him, despaired of that, so he decided to go out. From the entire city, and did not complete God’s message and left without God’s command to him

So he went to a ship and boarded with people on it, and after two days of sailing a severe storm arose. The captain of the ship threw away all the things they did not need in order to lighten the load on the ship and in the hope of survival, but the storm continued and the ship almost sank, so they said that they were drawing lots and the one whose name comes up would be thrown into the sea. And God wished that the name of Yunus, peace be upon him, would come out, but they refused to throw him into the sea. So they repeated the matter, and his name came out a second time. They refused and returned it for the third time. God Almighty wanted his name to be for the third time in a row, so our master Yusun, peace be upon him, threw himself into the sea. The sea, so God Almighty commanded the whale to swallow his Prophet Yunus, peace be upon him, so the whale swallowed him by order of his Creator, Glory be to Him.

When a huge whale bit him, he realized the extent of the mistake he had made, and our master Yunus, peace be upon him, sat stuck in his stomach without eating or drinking. While he was in the darkness of three days, he heard voices and felt a desire to know what these voices were, so God Almighty sent them to be the praises of His creatures.

So he sat down and asked God’s forgiveness, and he was saying: “There is no god but You, Glory be to You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” So God Almighty responded to his call and forgave him, so God commanded the whale to come out on the shore and “Yunus,” peace be upon him, to come out of its stomach, so “Yunus” came out of the whale’s belly while he was He was sick, hungry and thirsty, so God Almighty commanded the earth to grow a plant, which was a squash plant, to provide shade for our master Yunus, peace be upon him, so Yunus ate from it and God healed him.

God Almighty said in Surat Al-Saffat: (And Yunus was one of the messengers, when he departed to the loaded ship, and participated, and was of those who rejected him. Then the fish ate him while he was afflicted. Had it not been for A Because he was one of those who glorified God, he remained in his stomach until the day they were resurrected. So We cast him out in the open air while he was sick, and caused a tree to grow over him. pumpkin, and We sent it to a hundred thousand or more, and they believed, so We gave them enjoyment for a while.)

Second: The story of the Prophet of God “Idris, peace be upon him:

The Prophet of God, “Idris,” peace be upon him, is one of the prophets whom God Almighty mentioned in His Mighty Book. He preceded the Prophet of God, Noah, peace be upon him, and it has been said that he was sent after him. Our master “Idris,” peace be upon him, was the first to write with a pen, and the first to sew clothes and wear them. He, peace be upon him, also had knowledge of astronomy, astrology, and arithmetic.

His attributes, peace be upon him, were characterized by all noble qualities and morals, such as patience, righteousness, and the pursuit of good for all people, and for this reason, peace be upon him attained a great status before his Creator, Glory be to Him. God Almighty said in Surat Al-Anbiya: (Ishmael, Idris, and Dhul-Kifl – each of them who are patient, and We admitted him They are at our mercy Of the righteous.)

As for our honorable prophetic Sunnah, our master and prophet “Muhammad,” may God bless him and grant him peace, mentioned that he saw the Prophet of God, “Idris,” peace be upon him, in the fourth heaven when he was taken up to heaven. If this indicates, it only indicates his high status and high status with his Creator, Glory be to Him.

Third/ The story of God’s Prophet Hud, peace be upon him:

God Almighty sent His Prophet “Hud,” peace be upon him, to the people of Ad, and the people of Ad lived in an area called Al-Ahqaf, so our master “Hud,” peace be upon him, called on his people (the people of Ad) to worship God alone, with no partner and to abandon polytheism and worship of idols besides Him, as He reminded them of the signs of God and His blessings upon them, both apparent and hidden, and by His grace, Glory be to Him, by making them caliphs on earth after the people of our master Noah, peace be upon him. He also, peace be upon him, made it clear to his people that reward is of the same type as work, and made it clear to them that faith is rewarded with gardens of bliss, while disbelief and turning away have no reward except Fire and fate worsened.

It was only among his people that they turned away from him and his call, and were arrogant, and despite the call of their Prophet and his clarification of his message, they turned away and increased in their disbelief, so the punishment of God Almighty came upon them.

God Almighty said in His Mighty Book: “As for ‘Ad, they were arrogant in the land unjustly and said, ‘Who is stronger than us in strength? Have they not seen that God who created them is more powerful than them?’” And they denied Our signs, so We sent upon them a harsh wind in bad days to make them taste the torment of disgrace in this life and the torment of the Hereafter He is ashamed of their delusion They will not be helped.)

Fourth/ The story of the Prophet of God, “Noah,” peace be upon him:

The Prophet of God, Noah, peace be upon him, was one of the most powerful of the messengers. He, peace be upon him, is considered the first messenger sent to people. He, peace be upon him, remained in calling his people for a thousand years minus fifty years, and his message to his people was to worship God, their Creator alone, with no partner, and to abandon the worship of idols. Which has no power for them besides God to benefit or harm.

Despite his dedication to worshiping his people and conveying the message of his Lord, they rejected him, so he called them day and night, secretly and publicly, but they were arrogant and denied his message, and the arrogance reached such a level that they were putting their fingers in their ears so that they would not hear what he was saying to them. They said about him, peace be upon him, that he was a crazy liar, so he revealed God Almighty told him to make a ship, so he followed what God inspired to him and made the ship, but his people were mocking him and what he was doing, and God inspired him to put on the ship those who believed from his people with him, and to put two pairs of all creatures around him, and the signal was when the oven boiled.

As soon as the sign came, the sky opened with pouring water, and springs and springs burst from the ground. The water met in a great form, and it was a majestic flood that drowned all the arrogant polytheists, so God Almighty saved His Prophet “Noah,” peace be upon him, and his faithful servants.
